Toyota Quantum Fuel Tanks — Used OEM & New Replacement
Toyota Quantum fuel tanks split by drivetrain — the 2.5 D-4D diesel and 2.7 VVTi petrol use different tank geometries with different sender-unit electrics. Used OEM tanks from donor minibuses typically run R1,800-R3,200. New aftermarket steel tanks run R3,500-R5,800 with mounting straps and filler-neck assembly included.
A common cause is an original tank rusted through after coastal service or a chassis knock from a kerb mount. Quote your VIN before ordering so we match by drivetrain (2.5 vs 2.7) and body type (SWB vs LWB) — the sender-unit wiring is not interchangeable across diesel and petrol variants.
