Toyota Agya Transmission

Drivetrain and toyota agya transmission range covers both the 5-speed manual and the 4-speed torque-converter automatic variants sold locally. Manual gearboxes typically run R4,000-R8,000 used, automatics R6,000-R11,000 complete with torque converter. You can request complete used gearbox assemblies, clutch kits (disc, pressure plate and release bearing), flywheels, input and output shafts, synchros, shift forks, shift linkages, valve bodies for autos, solenoid packs, differential internals (integrated in the transaxle), CV joints, driveshafts and hub-bearing assemblies. Common wear issues reported include a notchy 2-3 upshift on high-mileage manuals (worn synchro rings), slow auto shifting on autos past 120,000km (usually a failing solenoid or tired valve body) and worn clutch kits on aggressive-driver manual units (R1,800-R3,200 for a complete kit including release bearing). Used driveshafts with CV joints run R450-R850 per side depending on boot condition and axle straightness.
