Toyota Starlet Exhaust

Salt, rough surface and potholes chew through toyota starlet exhaust components faster than most owners expect, especially along SA coastal routes around the Cape Town and KZN regions. For the classic EP-series you can request exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, centre pipes, rear mufflers, gaskets and mounting rubbers for both 2E and 4E-FE engines. The EP82 GT Turbo runs a dedicated downpipe and cat — harder to find, used only. Modern 2020+ Starlet exhausts are shared with the Suzuki Baleno platform: stock exhaust manifold with integrated cat, centre resonator and rear muffler. Used complete exhaust systems from accident write-offs typically run R1,800-R3,200. Cat theft remains an ongoing issue on the modern Starlet — used replacement cats with heat-shield protection brackets can be quoted where available.
