Toyota Etios Transmission

The Etios ran two gearboxes during its SA life — the C50 5-speed manual (shared with Yaris and some Vitz derivatives) and a 4-speed automatic on the Xs auto trim. Toyota Etios transmission stock covers both, and demand is high because e-hailing duty cycles eat clutches faster than normal.

Used clutch kits, pressure plates, flywheels, release bearings, clutch master and slave cylinders, CV joints, driveshafts, torque converters (auto) and differential housings can be requested. Manual gearbox pricing lands at R4,500-R7,500, and automatics at R9,500-R17,000.
