Toyota Etios dashboards are a common Etios consumable — the original soft-touch dash material develops cracks after 5-7 years of SA sun exposure, particularly on the top surface above the instrument cluster and around the windscreen demister vents.

Replacement dashboards are sold complete with vents, glovebox lid, HVAC controls and the matching wiring sub-harness. Used OEM dashboards from CPT donors run R1,400-R3,200 depending on whether the airbag is included; the airbag itself must be sourced and fitted separately by a qualified technician for safety reasons. New aftermarket replacement dashboards are scarce — most Etios dash replacements use used OEM. Both Etios sedan and hatchback share the same dash architecture but trim colours differ — quote VIN to match by exact factory colour code.
